A day off work

7th Mar 2011

It's my second time sitting here, by the glass window, up a few floors, reminds me of the time when I was at the Gherkin Tower. Only then it was darker and later in the evening. I was privilege to be brought up to the top floor for the London skyline with some fine city business people in one of the most desired place. We went through the security check and was marvelled by the 360 degrees view from the top.

Today, it's another privilege day. I'm not in Gherkin , but yet the view is just as spectacular, if not better. I sat there, overlooking the St Paul's Cathedral and the Millenium Bridge from the top, enjoying the sunset with a cup of cappuccino, chatting away while looking down from the sixth floor, humans as tiny as dots moving swiftly , reminding me of the daily buzz of the city.

Boy, am I so glad that I am off work , spending time just the way I wanted. This time we came not for the art exhibition but simply for a cuppa while seeping every moments and beautiful sky views of the London and enjoying each other company. I am at the Members Room of the Tate Modern, sitting by the big glass window.
